Room 11 News 19-20

No homework this week other than fun writing assignment due Wednesday! They are usually very funny!  Tuesday is Polar Express Day! Wear your pajamas to school with sneakers! We will have hot chocolate, cookies, and candy canes. Morning activities will be Polar Express related! Wednesday is mission collection! Thursday is our class Christmas party!  Friday is Christmas dress up day! Christmas pageant at 10:30. Dismissal at 11:45 Merry Christmas! Enjoy this wonderful holiday with your family and friends! Best wishes for a happy and healthy new year!

Mission collection Wednesday Secret Santa Workshop Friday at 11:00. You may accessorize with santa hats, necklaces, socks, headbands, etc! New words this week are: horse, old, could, be, paper, of. Try and do a good deed every day to get your hearts ready for Jesus! Monday Write words 2X each in W copybook. Math journal page 254B in new chapter 5 book. Tuesday Write words in ABC order. Math pp. 259, 260. Wednesday Write each new HF word in a sentence in your W copybook. Math pp. 265, 266. Thursday Write your HF words in a creative story! Math pp. 271, 272. Gym tomorrow! Secret Santa shopping day tomorrow! Bring money to shop for your family! Report cards are in your child's folder today!  Do not seal the envelope. Keep the white report at home but return the envelope for 2nd trimester's report card!

Math Test Friday on chapter 4 No new words this week!  Merit award dress down tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday! Friday is St. Nicholas day and also crazy x-mas dress down even though we have gym! Just wear your sneakers!  Bring mission money for The Ronald McDonald House. Craziest x-mas accessories wins a prize!  Santa Letters are due Friday, December 6th! Miss Kennedy's last day is Friday. We are going to have a little party for her too. If you could have your child make a card for her at home and bring it in on Friday.  Monday Math pp. 233, 234. Tuesday Math pp. 239, 240. Ten frame step 2 model is step 1 ten frame rewritten ! They did this to show the kids that a ten was left. This can be confusing so good luck!!!!
