No new words for "W" copybook! We are working on skills this week for Life in The Forest.  Religion test on Wednesday for chapter 9! Wednesday is Mission collection! Friday we will be celebrating our 100th day of school! A letter is in your child's folder about our special snack! Please bring in 100 items in a baggy on Friday for our chex mixish concoction!!!!  The treat has to fit in a zip lock bag.  Please remind your child to wash their hands before counting the 100 items as we all will be eating the snack!!! A day of fun-filled activities to celebrate our special day have been planned! Spring pictures on February 25th! Wear regular clothes or your school uniform! Order forms are in your child's folder! Happy Catholic School's Week! We are collecting pennies for the children in the Missions during CSW. Bring in a penny for each bead of the rosary as we pray a daily decade! 60 cents will provide lunch for a week for one child in the Missions! Please bring in a rosary for this week! I do have extra if you do not have a rosary! Monday and Tuesday first grade will visit the Book Fair! Monday is Career day and Parent Appreciation Day! No homework! Room 11 readables for Life in The Forest are to be read at home this week!  Tuesday is Student Appreciation Day! Students may wear gym uniforms!  SSJ Bowl in the afternoon! No homework tonight! Wednesday is Science Fair Expo!  Thursday is Talent Appreciation Day! Talent show at 1:15 and 7:00 at night! Dress down day! Friday is Teacher Appreciation Day! Mass at 9:00 and dismissal at 11:45. No gym today due to mass and half day! Wear regular school uniform! No tests this week! No new words this week!  Homework on Wednesday

Religion test on chapter 8 Friday ! Tuesday Write new words in ABC order tonight! Math pp. 335, 336. Wednesday Write a sentence for each new high frequency word. Math pp. 341, 342. Read "What Am I" in take home folder to practice skills from the week! Read chapter 8 in Religion tonight and tomorrow night for test on Friday!  Thursday Write a creative story using all new words! Math pp. 347, 348. Study for Religion test tomorrow! FYI Next week Catholic Schools Week: Sunday 9:00 mass followed by open house in school until 1:00. Write a sentence for each HF word in W copybook. Thursday Complete journal page 330D in our new chapter 6 math book. Write a creative story using all of our HF words this week! Gym tomorrow!
