Week of February 3rd-7th

No new words for "W" copybook! We are working on skills this week for Life in The Forest. 

 Religion test on Wednesday for chapter 9!

 Wednesday is Mission collection!

 Friday we will be celebrating our 100th day of school! A letter is in your child's folder about our special snack! Please bring in 100 items in a baggy on Friday for our chex mixish concoction!!!!  The treat has to fit in a zip lock bag.  Please remind your child to wash their hands before counting the 100 items as we all will be eating the snack!!! A day of fun-filled activities to celebrate our special day have been planned!

 Spring pictures on February 25th! Wear regular clothes or your school uniform! Order forms are in your child's folder!

Week of May 4th-8th

Happy May! We are in the homestretch with only 17 more academic days left until the end of the year. We are off on   5/ 21, 5/22, and 5/25. Last day of e-learning is 5/29. May 11th was supposed to be our field trip to the zoo so we will be doing animal-related activities. Hopefully, everyone had an opportunity to pick up their supplies in the Narthax over the weekend. Daily Zoom sessions at 9:30 for math and teaching of new concepts in ELA. Monday Math lesson 10.5 -  reading tally charts pp. 599-604.  ELA - New words this week are: give, surprise, would, enjoy, worry, about. Write words 2X each in your "W" copybook. Preview our new story, Mama's Birthday Present in unit 4 by looking at pp. 12. Discuss what it means to treasure something. Share ideas about surprises and talk about how a surprise can be a treasure. Look at pp. 14 and 15 and find all the pictures that have the long a sound.
