Directions for Pete the Cat Drawing:

Hello 1st grade,

For art class this week, you are going to be listening to one of my favorite stories, Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons.

1. Please listen to the read aloud called Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons. Video Link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkQ4d_fff3E

2. Then, get a piece of white paper and a pencil and watch my video on how to draw your very own Pete the Cat! Remember, draw lightly just in case you have to erase!
3. Start with pencil, and then you can trace in black marker or black crayon when you are done drawing.

4. Later, you can color your Pete the Cat in with markers, paint, colored pencils, or crayons!

**Again, if you wish to send me a picture of the finished artwork, you are welcome to!

Have fun drawing, and I miss everyone!

From,
Miss Crowley
